Adele Has Extended Her Residency
Whether you love Adele or don’t care for her, she has been in the news a lot lately. If you’ve been wanting to see her show but weren’t able to get tickets or just didn’t have any dates that lined up, you still have a chance. She will return to Caesars Palace in June of 2023 and her residency will now go through November 2023. It has also been reported that she will now receive over $1 million per show. Wow! It’s good to be Adele.
Las Vegas Grand Prix – Formula 1 Race
Are you a Formula 1 Fan? Are you a Las Vegas Fan? If you’re both, well you’re in luck! Formula 1 is coming to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 16 – 18, 2023. (And if you have not heard of this yet, where have you been?) General Admission tickets start at $500 for the weekend, which will include food and non-alcoholic beverages. Many Vegas casinos also have special room and ticket packages, so if you are a member of a casino rewards club, be sure to check with them for any specials!
The race will be run through the streets of Las Vegas and down the strip. They already have plans to start work on road improvements to prepare the track for the race. If you plan to be in Vegas over the next few months, it would be a good idea to check on road construction and closures so you know what to expect.
Viewing of the Las Vegas Arches Will Soon Be Safer
In 2020 the city of Las Vegas erected the Las Vegas Arches near the Strat casino. This quickly turned into a new tourist attraction and everyone, of course, wanted a selfie in front of the structure. Unfortunately, the best place to get that perfect selfie shot was right in the middle of very heavy strip traffic!
This dangerous situation has now been remedied thanks to the city of Las Vegas and the Strat casino. A viewing platform was approved and built in a parking lot along the strip that belongs to the operators of the Strat casino. This project was said to have cost the city $200,000 but they believe it’s worth it for the safety of all the visitors that Las Vegas welcomes every year! All you selfie fans can now go out and get that perfect picture!
