I have arrived at Cosmo! My first stop was the Players Club to get my $75 in freeplay. I ran that through a Lightning Link machine. Sadly, I was only able to turn it into $20 cash.
Now I am at my favorite bar, Chandelier Bar, playing video poker.
It took a while, but I finally hit a nice quad. Let’s hope they keep coming!
And, of course, I could not site at Chandelier Bar without having my favorite drink – a Raspberry Lemon Drop! They make the best ones here!
I’m still playing, even though the quads have left me for now. I am accumulating these drink tickets faster than I can consume drinks. And if I try to keep up, I probably won’t be able to walk out of here! LOL
I played a bit longer and then left the bar with a few extra drink tickets. They are good for a few hours, so I may be back! I did finally have one good bonus on Lightning Link Happy & Prosperous, not huge but it keeps me playing!
No it’s time for a break! And I’m hungry! I’m currently at Wolfgang Puck’s Cucina in the Crystal Shops for lunch. I have a $25 MyVegas reward. I need to order two entrees though to use it, so going with 2 pizzas and a glass of wine. There will be plenty of leftovers! Thank goodness I have a fridge in the room!
A tough part about being solo is that it’s hard to use any deals that are BOGO or when you need to order two or more entrees. But I love my solo trips and I make it work! I got a glass of Pinot Noir and ordered the Wild Mushroom Pizza and the Margherita Pizza. Both were delicious, but I liked the mushroom just a bit more!
After that delicious lunch, I headed back to Bally’s. I can find a $5 table there and that is what I did. And here was my first great hit of the day! A Full House on Mississippi Stud, which pays 10 to 1!
I played a while longer and was smart enough to leave while I was ahead. This put me ahead for the day! In for $200 our for $625!
That will do for today! I’m going to quit while I’m ahead. I also walked almost 10000 steps today, but it felt like a lot more. And it’s way more than I get at home with my desk job!
It’s raining here now. Hopefully, it will clear up for some more outside walking. I also want to check out the Ballys spa, and the Diamond Lounge at Paris. But, you know, gamble is top of the list!
