Fun and New Friends and Lots of Drinking

Good morning again, Las Vegas! It’s a beautiful morning today, and the sun is out for now. You can still see the clouds in the distance, but hopefully the sun will win out and stay.

I want to walk over to the Cromwell later and try their full pay video poker. Hopefully, it’s friendlier than what I’ve been getting. But first I do have some work to do this morning. One advantage – or disadvantage depending on how you look at it – I can travel as I want and just take my work with me!

My daughter and her husband are now in town for a convention so I went over to Planet Hollywood to meet up. It’s always great when our trips overlap! And we always do a Girl’s Trip at least once a year!

We played some Pai Gow. I was able to play for a while but did not hit anything great. We are now the buffet at Planet Hollywood. It is decent, but I don’t think it’s anything spectacular.

After the buffet my daughter and I played a bit more but I just could not get anything to hit. She went off to do her conference thing, and I headed back to Bally’s. And I am now back in the Paris Diamond Lounge drowning my sorrows with too many Lemon Drops! But they are delicious!

OK, so I’m losing gambol wise, but I had the best time tonight. I met a group of people from Jersey at the Diamond Lounge who heard it was my birthday week and celebrated with me. Did I have a few too many shots? Maybe??

But it was such fun! And they invited me to join them for the high roller bar car tomorrow . Hell yeah! (Spoiler alert – I didn’t make it to the High Roller. More info coming) I think I’ll try a bit more VP before bed, that’s if I can still concentrate.

Maybe playing drunk is the way to do it! I ended today with a few nice hits. I finally found some aces and then a second spin bonus on Buffalo. And I cashed out there up $50. I’m still way behind but it’s nice to finally get something.
