It’s another rainy morning, but a rainy day in Vegas is better than a nice day anywhere else. And tomorrow I will be flying back home to more snow. Ugh.
I think I’m going to see the Real Bodies exhibit this morning. It’s here at Bally’s and I have free tickets thanks to my Diamond status. I’ll post some pics if I’m allowed to take photos.
I walked through the Real Bodies exhibit here at Bally’s. It was really interesting. They did allow pictures, and I have a bunch but some are pretty graphic. Here is a taste:
OK, so it’s my last full day. I have a flight tomorrow evening, so I’m hoping today is a good gambling day! It’s back to video poker! It started out same as always, but I finally it something! Keep them coming, please!
Those few good hands helped a bit, but I’m still down for the week. But that’s gambling! I’m starving now and so ready to try Hell’s Kitchen! And the walk over was beautiful, even if it still is a bit cloudy.
I made my way over to Hell’s Kitchen, which is located just outside of Caesars Palace.
The interior is nice, but a bit basic. It’s not super fancy, the ambiance is just okay in my opinion. And it gets very loud in there. Even when the place was not that full, it seemed overly loud.
Food and service review: The food was very good, not outstanding, and the service was just decent. Maybe it was because I was a solo dinner, but the waitress really didn’t pay that much attention to me. I’ve had much better high class service at other restaurants.
I had the 3-course prix fixe lunch special for $62. I got a choice of Caesar salad or pumpkin soup. I tried the soup and it was very good. Then I had a half order of the Beef Wellington, which was about a 3.5 oz filet. It was very good but not the best I’ve had. And then for dessert, the sticky pudding of course. It is their specialty, which if you don’t know, isn’t really pudding. It’s more of a very soft moist cake with ice cream. But very good.
Overall, I’m glad I tried it, but I won’t rush right back. Time for a short break in the room, and then some more gambling, to hopefully win back some of my losses this week!
