I have arrived at Four Winds CAsino! It’s very pretty up here in the fall!
I am all checked in. It didn’t take long, but the key machine is broken. I have to get my key later, but a bellman took me upstairs and let me in. He didn’t carry my luggage so not sure if I should tip but I gave him a couple bucks. Good karma.
I have the standard king room this time. I got lucky last time with a Jr. Suite. But I’m only here one night anyway. I do love the rooms here! And I really like their toiletries. Weird, I know. There’s coffee and a fridge in every room too! And waters! For free! Here are some pics. If you want to see pics of the Jr suite, look for my TR back in July of 2018. After I’m settled in the room it’s time to go play! Things are starting out OK. I had 2 $30 free bet coupons and played those on roulette. Four Winds let’s you put one on red and one on black. Guaranteed $30!
I played Mississippi Stud for a bit. Up and down and didn’t hit much. Now I’m playing Criss Cross Poker and I’m up $100. Not a bad hour or so. I have a whole $10 in free play on slot play! What should I play that on?
The cards turned against me eventually. I played video poker for a while, but could not find a four of a kind. Now it’s time for some food. The deli here, Timbers, is pretty good, so I’ll find something there.
If I don’t start hitting some wins soon, I’ll probably quit for the night and save my money for Caesars.
Dinner was the highlight of the evening. I ate at Timbers Deli thanks to casino credit. I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss Burger and their Tots. The burger was good but their tots are awesome! In hindsight I should have skipped the burger and just got loaded tots!
As for gambling, I should have stopped this afternoon when I was up $100. But what fun is that! Once I switched to VP it just continued downhill. I did not see one 4OAK all night. All the while, the guy sitting next to me kept hitting everything! I’m sensing a theme here lately. Am I whining? Why yes! Yes I am! I just hope Canada treats me better!
