I am relaxing a bit this morning. I need to fire up the laptop today just for a bit. I have some work that needs to be finished. Some days it’s a perk and some days it’s a curse to work for myself. I’m thinking some Tim Horton’s for breakfast sounds good! There is one here in the casino!
And I’m thinking I need to make a Walmart run for some snacks and alcohol. I’m planning on lots more VP for later and hopefully some Mississippi Stud today!
There is a show here tonight, Paula Abdul, and it sounds like this place will get busy later today. I better get the Walmart run done early, so that I can still find parking when I get back.
I tried Walmart, but I learned that Walmarts in Canada do not carry hard liquor. I found the LCBO, which is Canada’s version of liquor stores! Not bad prices there either and very friendly people. And it is true That Canadians are super friendly! I have not had a bad experience yet, in any store or the casino. So kudos to all my Canadian friends!
I am back at the hotel. My purchases are put away, and it’s time to try to find a Mississippi Stud table.
I played about an hour of Mississippi . I did find a $5 table! In for $200 out for $420! Yes. I had a good run, and I was smart enough to walk when it turned cold. The table started out slow, and there was one woman who would not stop talking, about anything and everything. Yikes! Sorry, no pictures allowed at the table.
I decided to grab my free buffet while I could. Since there was a show tonight, the coupon was only good until 3:30, and there was no line at 2 pm. The selection of food here is really good. Everything tastes good also, fresh and hot. But the desserts, great selection! So I went with light lunch and extra dessert!
I think it’s time for a bit of a break, maybe a walk. I’ll be back to video poker tonight!
