September 17, 2018 – Early
It’s about 4 AM and I’m awake! Sort of! Ugh For those who know me, I am NOT a morning person! Hubby knows that if I am up before the sun, I’m probably going to Vegas!
I made it! I’m all checked in! As usual, I am super early, but I’d rather be early than scrambling. So now I have time to wait in the ridiculously long Starbucks line.
And we are boarding! It’s my first time flying Southwest. I kind of like their boarding process. Pretty smooth. See you in Vegas!
And … We Are Here! I just landed! Excitement has taken over!
I’m here! We landed early. My bag came right away. Uber was super fast and cost me 2 cents after my promo code! Winning! The Uber driver was great!
I checked into Caesars. The room is not ready, but it’s only 8 am. I did try the $20 trick and got upgraded from my Palace Tower to Augustus Bellagio Fountain View! Score! And they said they would send up a fridge at no extra charge. I will post pics when I get to the room.
I’m now at The Paris having some crepes at Mon Ami Gabi. I am so excited I’m here! I was not able to get a seat right on the patio, but I did sit inside right in front of the window. What a view!
The food here is delicious. They have a wonderful breakfast menu. The crepes are amazing.
I am back at Caesars waiting for my room, so what to do? Duh! I played some Buffalo Gold. Up and down and cashed out even. Now time for some video poker. Not one quad in sight. I had 3 aces dealt 3 times, nothing.
I hope I get my room soon. I’m exhausted and it’s not even noon yet.
