Good morning Las Vegas! Please be good to me today!
It’s a new day and hopefully that will bring new luck. I am heading to Mandalay Bay today for a free buffet and a free ticket to Shark Reef. Then tonight, I will head over to Harrah’s for Menapause the Musical. I hear its hilarious, and well, it fits my age. Hahaha
My body is starting to feel all the walking so I’ll be taking a Lyft today! Wish me better luck! I Hope to check in later with lots of winning pics.
First stop is the Starbucks in the Caesars lobby. And score, with my Diamond card I get to skip the looooong line! I do get a lot of dirty looks from people, but Hey, I earned this! And by that I mean, lost a lot of money!
I took my coffee to the video poker machines! Where else? The quad drought has been back this morning. I finally hit one after putting $400 cash through the machine. Thankfully, playing Bonus Poker, the 2 pair has kept me playing with the same $50, and I’m back to Even.
Well, it’s official, Buffalo Gold hates me! I couldn’t buy a bonus! Not for lack of trying. So I went back to video poker and played BP again. No good hands to post, but I put another $400 through the machine and cashed out even. At least it lets me play for a while. Not I’m off to Mandalay Bay.
I just had lunch at Mandalay buffet. It was very good. The food was hot and fresh. Not as much selection as Wicked Spoon, but I thought the quality was better. Of course, that could have been timing. I ate at WS at the end of the lunch service, and I’m here at the beginning.
The desserts here were a little lacking in choices, but good. I had a seat at the window with a pool view, sort of.
I played a little more video poker after lunch. Once again, things started slow. I finally hit a Quad on Bonus Poker.
That started a little bit of a quad run, so I switched to Double Double Bonus and the quads started coming in! That started a bit of a comeback and I won back 100 of the 200 I was down! I’ll take it!
