Tonight I went to see the show Menopause the Musical at Harrah’s Las Vegas. I got it free as a monthly Diamond show. Another perk of being a Caesars Diamond member is that you get two free show tickets every month.
OMG, it was awesome! I think I laughed the whole show and sometimes in tears! They use older classic music and change the lyrics to, of course, menopause themes. The actresses were great and amazing singers. Cindy Williams (Laverne and Shirley) is also in it. I don’t think I saw many women under 40ish there. But there were also some brave men there, (dragged by their wives, I’m sure) and even they were laughing hysterically. I would totally recommend it.
They were pretty strict about no pictures but here’s a few that I was able to take.
I didn’t play much more after the show. And today was another losing day. But at the end of the day, I did have $200 left of today’s budget. I consider that a small win.
After the show, I walked back from Harrah’s to Caesars through the Forum shops. That place is a maze and I got turned around a few times. (That huge Cosmo probably didn’t help!) I did make a stop at the Cheesecake Factory and picked up something to go. Yummy! I had about 2 bites and will save the rest. At 1130 calories for this slice, I’ll have to eat it over the next 3 days!
A great show, a few drinks, cheesecake … now I’m ready to crash! What a great day. Sad to think my trip is half over, but tomorrow is a new day!
