Woke up early again this morning, thanks jetlag. I might relax in the room a bit this morning (ya right! I’ll be in the casino shortly. Lol) I’m planning to head to Fremont Street today. Maybe Boarshead Bar at Main Street Station will treat me better on video poker!
I have a MyVegas buffet for Mirage that I could use tonight, but I’m kind of buffeted out. Maybe pizza or a burger downtown!
First, another stop at the Starbucks in the lobby.
It’s good to be Diamond! Starbucks has a diamond line here at Caesars. The regular line is super long. There is nobody in the Diamond line. I get glares as I pass. Do I feel bad? Ya, but not really!
I took a Lyft down to MSS. Caesars to Fremont is a bit far for me to walk in this heat. Boarshead Bar is very cool little bar, and some great bartenders. It’s my first time here, but I’m sure I’ll be back! And you can see why it’s called Boarshead!
Video poker here at MSS went OK for a bit and then all downhill from there. I hit a few quads, but nothing solid on Double Double. I had to keep switching over to Bonus Poker to save some money. I did get 5 scratches but that wasn’t enough to overcome the bad cards.
On the bright side, I did run into another VMB member! Funny, because we were chatting for about an hour and neither of us noticed that the other was wearing a VMB bracelet. LOL. It’s always great to meet more people! And I got to meet the bartender, Jose, that everyone raves about! Great guy and he makes great drinks!
I am now back at Caesars. Not really sure what I’m doing next. I got a bite to eat right now at the Caesars Food Court, Ramen. It’s not Two Ten Jack Ramen, but it’s fuel. I would really like to win some money, otherwise tomorrow will be nickel video poker.
Well, gambling has not gone well this week. Although I haven’t gone over budget, I was hoping to take some home. But that’s Vegas. So now the choices are nickel poker or, and I’m leaning towards this… The rest of my cheesecake and a soak in the Jacuzzi tub (not necessarily at the same time, hehe)
I have one more day tomorrow to make a dent. Good night Vegas!
