Sadly it’s my last day. I’m trying to decide what to do. My gambling budget is getting low so it may have to be nickel slots, unless I cave and hit the ATM. A relaxing morning and room service sounds pretty darn good. I have not treated myself to that yet.
Also, I don’t think I ever posted pics of the room view at night. So here you go, enjoy.
Just checked in for my flight tomorrow. This means the beginning of the end. That’s always sad. Why does Vegas week fly by when all weeks before just crawl?
I need to go make the most of this day… That is if I have any energy left. The first win of the day … The Diamond Line at Starbucks.
I am back at video poker this morning, but I have had to move down to nickel play. Well, I finally hit aces, now that I dropped to nickels. Oh wel,l a win is a win. A few more and I can go back to quarters!
And then another premium quad. On nickels, of course. I think the secret is not caring anymore. LOL
I played that nickel machine for a couple of hours on 20 bucks. Not getting rich, but at least I’m getting to play! I refuse to take out more money! Unless I get too drunk of course. Hahaha
I got hungry and decided a burger sounded good. My brain said In-N-Out Burger by the Linq sounds pretty good. But my body said “You have been walking around this city all week, and that is soooo not happening!” Alrighty then, Smash Burger it is! It’s pretty good! I added avocado and sweet potato fries. And I can use Rewards Credit to pay for it. (I am really gonna have to starve myself when I get back home!)
Well now the machines are just taunting me. There are not many 5 cent machines at Caesars. I’m almost embarrassed just to play them here. The only one open was UltimateX. It won’t let you play just 1 hand at 5 credits. So I played 3 hands at 1 credit. I’m really low-rolling it, And I got cards. Grrrr This great hand in less than 5 minutes. So I switched to max bet, and then of course I got absolutely nothing! I’m embarrassed to show these. I never play less than max credit.
So now I’m in the Diamond Lounge pouting and drinking a delicious Lemon Drop. BTW, the Diamond Lounge at Caesars is nice. Big and roomy. Some lounge type sitting, TV’s, Non-smoking. The food is OK. There is a salad bar and snacks. I see a spot for hot foods. I’m guessing wings and such later. But if you’re out of money and need a drink, it’s a place to go!
I also took a walk around theCaesars pool just to see it. I didn’t really want to sit at the pool by myself. Maybe when my daughter and I come out. Anyone know if it’s pool weather yet by mid-April?
Well I caved and got another hundred to play with. I found an STP machine that had 7/5 BP. Those were few and far between at Caesars. I finally started hitting some hands! It was just nice to play a while and not go through 100 in 10 minutes. I hit quite a few 4oaks. Every time I had a nice profit, I upped the bet to 50 but then back down shortly.
I finally went on a good 50 cent run and hit a 4oak with that. In the end, I had played almost 3 hours, earned over 300 TC (and I really wanted to get some playtime to show Caesars I deserved the room!) and I cashed out at $240. My first profit of the trip, and it ended the trip on a high note. Yay!
Now I need to pack…. Sadness…
