Good morning! I am finishing up at home and hoping to be on the road within the hour. My first win of this trip is that I got a new car last week. No more listening to weird noises and wondering when my car will get me stuck!
On another note, DH (Dear Husband) always slips me a bit of extra play cash. Today it was two 50s. Hmm For the superstitious among us (and what gambler isn’t? ) thoughts? I think I will change them out when I get there!
I’m on the road now and made a quick stop for coffee and a muffin. As you can see this trip will be most no frills food!
I’m here! It’s not fancy but it’s got video poker! It’s too early to check in here so what to do? Video poker at the bar of course. (after a quick potty stop)
I am ready to win! I have my Millionaires Coffee, which is delicious, and video poker! One of my favorite places, sitting at the bar with a drink and playing video poker!
Wow. What a horrible start. About $1000 through machine and I’m down 200 already. I tried DDB, BP, but nothing is working. I think it’s time to move on to something else. I don’t even have any pics of close ones.
I switched to Quick Quads and finally hit a four of a kind. I love that game! I played one machine and wasn’t getting anything, so I switched to next machine. A guy sits down, and 2 hands later he gets a quad, of course! Ugh! At least I finally hit something!
After a few nice hits, VP turned again so I’m playing Mississippi Stud. I got junk for the first half hour, then a full house! Yay! Sadly no Pic. No cameras allowed at the tables. The cards are getting worse again so I may quit here soon and get my room and some food.
BTW, I hope this Trip Report is enjoyable. I wasn’t sure about doing them at first. But since most of my trips are solo, I kind of feel like I have friends with me while writing!
I left Miss Stud up $225! Yay, I walked away a winner. Trying to learn to do that more. I think now I’m up a bit so far. I’m heading to check in and then get some food!
