I’m starting off OK. At the bar with a Lemon Drop martini. It’s not Chandelier Bar grade, but good. Put $100 in a triple play game. It’s Bonus Poker at 6/5, ugh! But oh well. I get down to $40, then a 4oak! And dealt flush. I’m back to even. I Switch to double bonus and boom, quads!
Then, of course, I hit the curse of Bonus Poker – I get Aces with a kicker!
Another rough stretch, and then just like that I’m back up! Oh yeah!
I then got myself into a nice little run of great hands! More quads and then the Pointies show up! And suddenly I’m up $500! Great way to start the trip!
That was a great run! I upped my bet, which was a mistake. I ended up giving some of it back. But I played for 4 hours, made a little money, and had many, many lemon drops, which I may regret in the morning. Oh wait, it’s already morning! Time to get some sleep!
