It’s another beautiful morning in HOT Laughlin. It’s 9 am and already 90 degrees – dry heat LOL. I’m hoping to try the water taxi today and check out one of the other casinos. At least I have some money to play with now!
But first, I need to fire up the laptop and get a little work done. Got to pay for my degenerate gambling ways! I love that I can work from anywhere that I have internet!
Breakfast this morning is cheesecake from last night! I was too full to even take a bit. But it’s delicious! Here is the picture again, in case you missed it!
The cheesecake is gone, and it’s time for a little video poker before my river walk. Not bad so far. I go back to the bar and triple play double double bonus. I get a few quads, so I up it to 5 line play. That gets me nothing. I switch back to triple line play and boom, another quad. Go figure!
I braved the heat today to do the river walk. I took the water taxi to the Colorado Bell and then walked to a few others. The water taxi was a lot of fun. They come by every so many minutes. And as a CET Diamond, I was able to get a great deal on the price.
The heat was much more bearable today, but I think that was my fault. I overdid the alcohol the first night and felt horrible yesterday. Sadly, I do this most trips and never learn.
I played a $20 in a few of the casinos on the way. Nothing major but broke even in most, and free drinks. I made it to Aquarius and then headed back. An enjoyable adventure.
