It was an early morning today. The bus left for the airport before 8 AM. I set my luggage out late the night before, and they picked it up and shuttled it right to the airport. Pretty nice to not have to mess with it! One last pic of the Resort Area:
Final win of the trip… An empty middle seat on the flight! I thought at first I had the whole row when they closed the doors, but then someone moved. And a free bailey’s for the flight home. I’ll have a final wrap up once I’m home!
Sadly, I am now back in the real world. These trips always go much too fast. However I had a wonderful time, and I would definitely go back to Laughlin, although preferably when it’s a bit cooler out so I can do more. If you are looking for the club/party scene, then Laughlin is not for you. It’s a bit more laid back, slower pace, but still a lot of fun. All the staff there were wonderful. The dealers and pit crew were super friendly and outgoing as was the bar staff and cocktail waiters. I’ve been to some casinos where the staff looks like they hate being there, so this was very important to me. I met a lot of great people, especially on the flight. All in all a wonderful trip.
Things I accomplished from my list:
- Lots of gambling!
- Plenty of drinking!
- Hit a Royal!!
- Good food!
- The river walk and water taxi!
- And bring home more money then I brought! Winner Winner!
The one thing I didn’t do was any pool time, but I’m not a big pool person anyway, so no loss.
So now I am so looking forward to Vegas in September, and I totally plan to do another Trip Report then. That was a lot more fun than I even thought. Thanks to all who followed along. And if anyone has any suggestions on how I can make the next one better, please share!!
