Queen Study with Sofabed and Kitchenette
In February 2021 I needed a room for one night at the Indianapolis Airport before an early flight the next morning. I chose the Home2 Suites by Hilton, and it was a great choice! This property is only about two years old and very modern and clean! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was a great size with plenty of room for up to 4 people to sleep. It included lots of amenities like a kitchenette, sleeper sofa, and a clean, functional bathroom.
The bed was a very comfortable queen-sized bed. I am very picky about my pillows and those were also very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. LOL The sofa set up in the room was a sleeper sofa. There was plenty of room to pull it out and sleep 2 additional people if needed. And between the bed and sofa, they had installed a privacy curtain, a nice extra touch.
Bathroom
The bathroom was clean and very modern. The shower was a great size and very well kept. The shampoo and body wash was set up as one of those dispenser units, which is not my preference. However, I understand that they are installed for ease of use and also because they are much more friendly to the environment than disposable bottles. There were plenty of towels and you had the usual included hair dryer.
Kitchenette
The included kitchenette was an extra nice touch. If you are needing a place to stay for a few days or even weeks, this has just about everything you would need. There is a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave for cooking, and even a dishwasher. They also set you up with cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils, enough to cook your meals for days. There is also a coffee maker. And, of course, the hotel has coffee available in the lobby and servers a daily breakfast.
Location
The hotel is located near the Indianapolis Airport, and it’s right across the street from my favorite off-airport parking, Fast Park & Relax. And it’s only about 3 miles from the Economy lot at the airport, if you prefer parking there.
At a cost of under $100, depending on dates, this hotel is a great deal! It’s definitely worth a look if you need a place to stay near the Indianapolis Airport.
